Checking Account

For many of us a checking account was the first step toward independence. Check writing offers many privileges as well as responsibilities. Writing your first check was fun and exciting. Writing checks may not be as exciting for you today, but if you bank with Security National Bank at least you can be sure to have a partner you can count on and who offers the personal service and convenience you need. If you haven't already done so, we invite you to stop by our offices and open an account with your hometown bank today.

While there are many advantages to banking with SNB, certain fees do exist. A service charge of $5.00 will be imposed each statement cycle if the average daily balance for the cycle falls below $100. This fee will not apply to senior citizens (65 or older) who write ten or less checks per month.

See "Understanding Your Deposit Account " for specific terms.

NOW Accounts

For those of you looking to earn interest from your checking account, our NOW account is the perfect choice.

With a deposit of $1,000.00 or more, you can open our account today.

A below minimum balance fee of $5.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in the account falls below $1,000.00 any day of the cycle. Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change. Interest will be compounded every month. Interest will be credited to your account every month. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. Fees could reduce earnings on this account.
